OUR STORY & OUR PROCESS
After thirty+ years in media, ultimately as an executive at a Fortune 100 corporation, I decided it was time to pursue a lifelong obsession with handcrafting - that is - making beautifully designed and elegant items, mostly functional but not always. For years it was a weekend pursuit between t-ball practice, dance classes and skateboarding sessions. Dedicating myself to master a specific craft is a joyful exercise - the pursuit of perfection will never end nor will the flow of new ideas. And, therein lies the heart of the craftsman - it lies within the beauty of the pursuit.
Our process is a simple one:

Get to know the needs of the recipient by conducting a one on one discussion where decisions will be made regarding materials, colors, and hardware.

Modify and customize the base design of the product to meet their needs and exceed their expectations

Execute the design using the finest materials and carefully mastered techniques
Lead Times and Payments
Since each item is handmade and customized our lead times are lengthy and, we hope you will agree, worth the wait. Currently, for many items, there is a 6-9 month waiting period. This reflects the length of time it takes to construct your order but it is also dependent on the availability of certain materials (i.e. brass hardware comes from Italy, certain hides, like shell cordovan, are in short supply). While we understand waiting can be frustrating please note that to insure the best outcome we do not rush the process.
Payment schedule:
Secure waiting list slot - $500, fully refundable up to material acquisition date
30% of purchase price due upon materials order
30% of purchase price due at mid-point of build
40% due upon delivery (prior to shipping)
We prefer payments be made through Paypal or Venmo.
All items are guaranteed for materials and craftsmanship. Leather and wood are natural materials and must be periodically treated to insure their longevity. We ship each order with specially blended waxes to ensure longevity of the item.
